Thanks! I have to admit that I’ve been a part of “gamifying” ed-tech in the past, and still think there’s value in making learning more fun and engaging. But Nguyen makes so much sense when he talks about the values tradeoff that happens when we optimize for racking up scores over whatever the true purpose or intention might be.
